Get Involved...
Ka Hana Pono thrives because of the relationships that sustain it. Our preschool is more than a program — it is a community practice of nurturing children in balance with nature, ʻohana, and Spirit. There are many ways to walk beside us: sharing your gifts as a volunteer, or joining our teaching ʻohana. Each contribution strengthens the circle of care around our keiki.
Whether through volunteering, or teaching, your presence matters. Together, we create a preschool where keiki can grow in wonder, community, and balance.

🌿 Volunteer
Volunteers are part of our ʻohana, and we welcome those who bring curiosity, creativity, and care for children and ʻāina. We see volunteering as a reciprocal relationship — keiki benefit from your gifts, and volunteers leave with deeper connection and joy.
Ways to Volunteer:
-
Student Volunteers: We support high school and college students in earning service hours through meaningful, hands-on experiences with keiki and gardens.
-
Community Volunteers: Artists, musicians, storytellers, farmers, and cultural practitioners enrich our daily rhythm by sharing their gifts.
-
On-Call Support: Caring community members who can step in when extra hands are needed help us ensure consistency and aloha for our children.
