Locally owned and licensed by Hawaiʻi DHS — nurturing keiki with aloha in Haleʻiwa, serving families across Oʻahu’s North Shore.

Drop-In Childcare
(Daily or Weekly)
At Ka Hana Pono, we know families sometimes need flexible, short-term care — whether you’re visiting Oʻahu, a local ʻohana needing support, or simply exploring preschool options before enrolling full-time.
Our Drop-In Program (August–July) welcomes keiki ages 2–5 into a safe, joyful day filled with gardening, music, art, storytelling, and outdoor play in our Haleʻiwa classrooms and gardens.
-
Ka Hana Pono is licensed for up to 18 children per day.
-
Families enrolling children for the school year (August - July) always receive priority.
-
Drop-in care is offered on a space-available basis and may not be available on all days.
-
Reservations are only confirmed once the registration form and deposit are received.
-
If our preschool is fully enrolled, drop-in care may be closed.
